About us

Natural Animals is a practice offering veterinary herbal medicine and acupuncture. It is based in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, but Lynn will travel throughout the UK to see clients.

Lynn says:

I qualified as a vet in 1996, and started my career in a totally mixed practice in South West Wales, treating pets, farm animals and horses. After a maternity break, I joined the State Veterinary Service to help with the foot and mouth outbreak in 2001. However, I have always had an interest in herbal medicine, both for animals and people (I found peppermint tea was wonderful for treating my pregnancy heartburn!), and the more I learn about it the more interesting I find it.  I also became interested in acupuncture when a colleague was treating a horse of mine with bad arthritis.   I have now set up the Natural Animals practice so that I can concentrate on treating animals in the way I most enjoy. I am a member of the British Association of Veterinary Herbalists, and of the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists.

Natural Animals is a referral practice, so if you are interested in having a consultation, please contact your normal vet and ask them to drop me a line or give me a ring. Alternatively, I can contact your vet on your behalf. I will work with your vet to provide the best all round care for your animal. Unfortunately I am not able to give advice about animals that are not under my care.

Please contact me if you wish to discuss any aspect of the service I provide.
